She suffered through the cold

She felt naked and vulnerable

Unable to protect herself from the burning freeze

She could not bear the bite of the cold

It was unfriendly and unwelcoming

Even it knew it wasn’t her fault she ended up in the icy air

It did not blame her for her imperfections yet it remained persistent

The cold had felt no obligation to cease

It would not let go of its grip only because it was necessary

The pain was necessary and in the back of her mind she knew as well

She knew that the agonizing pain was very real but did not need to be felt

She knew the existence of the cold was only avoidable if she stopped breathing

But she had no hopes of death

She walked through the cold

She realized the cold with remain and never conclude its existence

So she started to move in spite of the torture the cold was capable of

As she took her steps, she noticed that torture was fading away little by little

Her head no longer ached the way it did

Her muscles no longer strained, her skin began to unblemish

The cold started to surround her rather than harm her

She started to notice the change as well

She cracked the grin that had been lost for so long

She hadn’t smiled since the last time she walked

And now she has not smiled since the last time she felt the cold

Then, the cold comes again, all at once

She becomes stagnant

The only thing that is moving is the tears down her face

She screams in pure agony

Then she realizes the cold’s normality

She then begins to suffer quietly

She relearns to accept. the cold

And the process continues its cycle

Until she stops breathing of cours
